About the Practice
A practice built around pension-related legal work
Aegiscraft was established to assist individuals in Malaysia who encounter questions or difficulties concerning their pension — whether during the years approaching retirement or after entitlements have already been put into payment.

Founded on a straightforward purpose
Aegiscraft was founded in Kuala Lumpur by practitioners who had spent years observing the same pattern: individuals approaching retirement holding pension documents they did not fully understand, or having received letters from scheme administrators that raised more questions than they answered.
The practice was set up to address that gap directly. Not to litigate as a first resort, nor to offer general financial guidance, but to read the relevant documents carefully, set out what they mean, and help the client understand what options are open to them under Malaysian law.
Since its founding, Aegiscraft has worked with clients across a range of circumstances — those reviewing EPF contributions built up over a working lifetime, those contesting calculations made by occupational scheme administrators, and those arranging their estate with pension beneficiary nominations as part of the picture. The pace of each engagement is adjusted to the client's needs, and decisions about how to proceed rest entirely with the client.
The practice operates from its office on Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. Initial enquiries are welcome by telephone or by appointment, and the first conversation carries no obligation.

Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Data is retained only as long as necessary and is stored securely.
About Our Work
Pension legal assistance in Kuala Lumpur
Pension-related legal questions in Malaysia often arise at points of significant life change — the approach to retirement, a change in employment circumstances, or the loss of a spouse. At these moments, having access to careful, impartial legal analysis of the relevant scheme documentation can help individuals understand where they stand before deciding on any course of action.
Aegiscraft assists clients who hold contributions under the Employees Provident Fund, those covered by private occupational pension schemes, and civil servants navigating the Pension Scheme administered under the Pensions Act 1980. The scheme rules, calculation methods, and available remedies differ considerably between these arrangements, and our work reflects that specificity.
In succession and estate planning contexts, pension nominations interact with wills and trusts in ways that are not always apparent from the face of the documents. A nomination made years earlier may not reflect current family circumstances, and the interaction between a pension payout and a deceased's estate can raise questions that benefit from legal examination before rather than after a claim arises.
Clients who have received a letter from a pension administrator reducing or declining their entitlement have a limited window to respond effectively. Early legal review can identify whether the administrator's calculation is consistent with the scheme rules and Malaysian law, and whether there is a basis to make representations.
